we had such a wonderful Christmas here in Kansas. it was super low key and mellow and all things relaxing. we started off Christmas Eve with a few little crafts, some last minute shopping and lots and lots of baking!
Christmas Eve we also have the tradition of opening one gift(which is always pajamas) and reading Christmas stories.
This year it was so fun to see the kids all excited for Santa and for Christmas.
Santa, and everyone else, spoiled the kids! They all got exactly what they wanted and were more than thrilled Christmas morning. I just adore watching my kids wake up on Christmas morning and watching their tired and excited faces. Those smiles were permanent for the whole day.
Fisher got a fun dominoes set and it was wonderful to see him bond with dad while setting it all up together.
my sister gave Fisher this cute and neat little remote controlled robot. He is a favorite in our home and is definitely never lonely. Oliver has taken quite a liking to this little guy and will just play with him all day.
Sabrina is in play-doh heaven!
we so enjoyed our Christmas home with just us six. It is always so wonderful to spend it with our families and we missed them all terribly this day, but sometimes a little quietness and the comfort of your own home is really all you need.
hope you had a beautiful Christmas too!
