Merry Christmas!

I finally got around to designing our Christmas card! Due to our hectic schedule I wasn't able to get a family photo... but you know everyone just likes seeing pictures of the kids! ;)

Our Own Handy Mandy...

Fisher has taken quite an interest in tools these days. The latest is the screwdriver. He knows when his toys run out of juice, all you have to do is unscrew the back and somehow they magically work again! He absolutely loves doing this and he could play with the screwdriver all day! (under close adult supervision of course!) I love that the simplest of things entertain him for hours!

December Already?!

Where has the time gone? I can't believe that it is already December and in a couple of weeks it will be Christmas! Time has flown by at the Crowder house and there is so much going on!

The boys are growing up and I can't believe that Fisher will be two at the end of this month! He has become quite the little boy. He is running, climbing and exploring new things. He isn't quite yet saying 'words' but him and Chase have their own little language they use to talk to each other. It's fun listening to them in the car... they keep each other pretty entertained! Fisher's new interest are trains and just being outdoors. Everyday Fisher takes my hand and walks me to the front door. This is his way of telling me that he wants to play outside. He doesn't care how cold it is, he just loves being out there. He is always listening and looking for planes, even at night!

Chase has turned into an exploring little 8 month old! He has completely mastered sitting up by himself and he is trying his hardest to crawl! He has master the backwards scoot and can end up halfway across the room in seconds! He wants to be everywhere Fisher is and just loves playing in the bath! He loves jabbering with his big brother and has the most infectious smile! He is such a happy baby and we are so blessed to have such amazing kids!

A Little Design Work

I have been going a little stir crazy with not working, so I thought I would put my creativity into designing some Halloween cards to send out. I always love designing our Christmas cards so I thought this would be fun to make as well. Here are just a couple that I worked on that I liked!!

LOVE Halloween!

I love this time of year! I love the fall weather. I love the pumpkins. I love the costumes. I love it all! I keep telling Wayne that we need to have a baby in October. I would love to throw a Halloween themed Birthday party! He is not so sure on this idea. Needless to say, the boys and I are having fun with this October. I was lucky enough to have a great friend who also loves this time of year and so we were able to take the kids to the pumpkin patch and to Gardner Village to see the witches. Thankfully she took a lot of cute pictures of the boys for me!
I dressed the boys up as a penguin and tiger for Halloween. Our neighbors had a fun Halloween Party and Fisher had a blast with everyone in their costumes. He just didn't care too much about wearing his own!

I love this picture of Fisher! He looks so happy!

Fisher at Gardner Village. Trying to take it all in!

My cute little Tiger!

Leslie took this great picture of Chase with the Pumkins! I loved how this one turned out!

A little harder than I thought!

So, now that Chase is close to sitting up by himself and Fisher is actually starting to enjoy his little brother's company I thought that I would try and take a picture of the two of them together. I even got them matching racing pajamas! Needless to say, out of the million pictures I took (and trust me... there where a lot!) I got only one of them where they both were smiling.

One Last Time...

Summer is finally over and so we had to take Fisher to his favorite place this summer one last time. Fisher absolutely enjoyed the water fountains at the Gateway in downtown Utah. He would always get excited and stand at the very edge watching all of the kids get soaked, but he would never venture in. I guess this time he found the courage because he ended up soaked!

Can't believe that Chase is five months old now!

This was Fisher at the Utah State Fair. He absolutely loved watching all the rides move.

Gettin' Dirty

I decided to finally finish the much needed yard work and Fisher decided that he would help. And he did! He thought it was a lot of fun to laugh at mom while she raked the leaves and pulled the weeds. He thought that many of the flowers needed pulling and decided that they too should go in the wheelbarrow. Once we finally got everything in, Fisher pulled everything out! It kept us both busy.

The Boys

I just that I would share with you all some pictures of the boys. I can't believe how fast time has gone! My little baby is four months now and rolling over and loving his big brother! Fisher is your typical toddler, running, playing and getting into everything!

Leaving Alaska...

Well, we are finally home from our wonderful trip in Alaska! I decided to finally update with the rest of our pictures. We had a great time and we loved being with family! Wayne is already starting to plan the next trip back.

We finally got to see our bear! These pictures were taken a couple days after our hike on the Russian River. Wayne spotted this bear from the side of the road. This bear was finishing up his lunch and Wayne kept asking if I wanted to get out of the truck to take a better shot. I felt pretty safe in the car and I think these pictures turned out just fine!

On our way back home from Seward, Wayne spotted another Grizzly running through grass in a location that wasn't too far from where we saw our first bear. Those bears can run fast and we didn't get any pictures of him but we had fun watching him.

We took the boys to the Sea Life Center in Seward. We were able to get up close to the Puffins, which I loved, but Fisher was way more interested in watching the big Sealion swim in circles!

Chase enjoying some time to just stretch out! He is rolling over and loving being on his stomach.

One of Wayne's favorite things to do growing up in Alaska is visiting the beach where the Kenai River dumps out into the ocean. Fisher just loved being on the beach and we couldn't get him to leave! He kept trying to run into the water to keep playing in it. I told Wayne that next year we need to take him to the beaches on San Diego or better yet... Hawaii! Fisher would LOVE that!

Fisher's first golfing lesson with Uncle Derek!

The only Bull Moose I saw on the whole trip!

Chase with his cousin Maddie and Pops!

Our last night in Alaska we decided to go bowling and Fisher just loved this. He just stood there watching every one's ball go down the lane and then he would get so excited when they knocked the pins down. Wayne and Uncle Derek decided that Fisher should learn how to bowl... he had a blast!

The Crowder boys ... and lil' Maddie!
