We have been hoping for snow here for awhile. I firmly believe that if it is going to be absolutely freezing, snow seems to make it worthwhile. Something about staying under the blankets and keeping cozy while it falls makes the snow seem okay. But we haven't had very much and even though the weatherman keeps forecasting snow... it never seems to show up.
Thankfully this past Saturday the weatherman finally got it right and we were greeted with a couple inches of the fresh white stuff. The kids were more than excited and ready to get out and play and shovel. Especially our little Oliver. He did not want to come in and still asks every morning if he can go play in the snow.
