Let the Summer Fun Begin!
Summer has finally began and we couldn't be more excited! The fresh air, the warm sun, the cool grass and of course the sprinklers to run through! Let the summer fun begin! This year is Fisher's first year of actually enjoying the summer fun! The moment we stepped outside and began to play in the grass, Fisher hasn't stopped playing outside. He absolutely loves it and it doesn't matter if you are doing yard work, going for a walk or blowing bubbles, he wants to be right there with you taking in the warm sunny rays.
Chase doesn't mind being outside either. He loves to just relax in his vibrating bouncing chair or have you push him in his stroller as you walk through the neighborhood. He too is a happy boy just being outside and enjoying the fresh air. We are looking forward to Chase and Fisher playing together outside next year. It will be fun to see all the neat games Fisher will show Chase!

Meet the Newest Crowder!!
We are so happy that Chase has finally joined the Crowder gang and Big Brother Fisher seems to be handling the newest sibling just fine. Fisher has been great with Chase and doesn't seem to notice him at all. Occasionally he will wonder why this little guy is crying but that's the only glance Chase gets from big brother.
We were so thankful that Kristin's parents where able to come out and help with our family getting adjusted. They kept Fisher pretty entertained and even planted our whole front yard! It looks absolutely amazing and we joked that having your yard done is definitely worth having kids!
We can't wait for all of you to meet this little guy! He is a cuddler and will definitely make your heart melt!

Wayne's Sad Boat
It was a sad day for fishing in Lake Powell this past weekend. Wayne went down in hopes of making the Utah State team and was excited to get on the water and find the big fish! He had been practicing for the past two weekends, taking friends to camp along Lake Powell so that he could be prepared for the big tournament. However, ten minutes into the tournament, Wayne's motor decided it wasn't going to stay on the boat.
Wayne was going the typical tournament speed in a boat, around 70 mph. It was fast, so when the motor became lose from the boat, it sent them spinning! They spun so fast it flew out Wayne's Co-angler into the freezing water and slammed Wayne around in the front of the boat. Luckily both Wayne and his Co-angler survived the terrifying accident with a few bruises and some shaken up nerves.
It took awhile for Wayne to get his boat towed and off the waters, but as soon as he was on shore he was able to comprehend the full damage. The motor was completely totaled and the back of his boat is pretty messed up. Hopefully he will be able to get his new boat repaired in time for his two biggest tournaments this spring. We will keep you posted!!

If you want to learn how to fish...
Wayne taught many folks who were interested in sport fishing how to throw and catch lures for largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, trout and many other sport fish. He spoke about finesse and power fishing and demonstrated many techniques to catch the really big fish.
Wayne does a wonderful job getting the audience involved and even excites the little kids with blow up fishies! He shows every kind of lure he uses that demonstrated crayfish, fish and worms. These lures are usually, jerk baits, swim baits, spinner baits and plastic tubes. Wayne has a blast doing these seminars and he has a natural ability to get people involved and excited about fishing!

Let the Fishing Begin...
It's official! Fishing season has finally began and Wayne made sure that he was out on the water as soon as possible!
This past weekend Wayne and his buddy Ryon decided to take advantage of the weekend and camped along Lake Powell and fished. However... it may be nice during the day but they both woke up to a blanket of snow Saturday morning! That didn't stop them in the least and they both seemed to have a great time catching the bass and the many other fish that inhabit beautiful Lake Powell!
This fishing trip gave Kristin and Fisher the wonderful opportunity to fly back to Denver, Colorado and celebrate 'Papa' Denny's birthday! Boy was he surprised and happy to have his grandson there!
Fisher was extremely spoiled as many of Kristin's friends showered him with books, an awesome Colorado State University sweatshirt and of course his new helicopter... Wayne's favorite! It also gave Kristin the much needed 'vacation' she needs before this new baby arrives! Fisher has become quite the traveler and we are so blessed that he enjoys it. The entire flight both to and from Denver, Fisher just looked out the window and watched as the clouds flew by. I am begining to think that we might just have a future pilot on our hands.
Although we had such a wonderful time, the trip was extreamly slow and there are a lot of people we wish we could have seen. Fisher is growing up to be such a fun little boy and if you just play with him outside for a little bit... you have a friend for sure!
